The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire state under a slight risk for severe weather. A large and, in some cases, unusual system is pushing though the area today bringing with it the chance of storms this afternoon.

We could see multiple rounds of action today. One hit this morning bringing heavy rain and a few rubles of thunder. We could see another later this afternoon, and depending on how things clear up, some could be severe as the atmosphere will have time to charge up this hot and humid air.

Flooding is becoming a concern as the rain could train and hit multiple areas that have received rainfall. The other thing is that because we have been so dry, alot of runoff will occur.

Timing: Morning, followed by storms from 3-10pm
